Intel Brings Quad SLI with the " Skulltrail "

The Skulltrail supports Quad-core 45nm processors (Penryn/Harpertown) CPUs & supports QuadSLI via dual NVIDIA nForce 100 MCPs.This mobo supports 4 PCI-E 2.0 slots. This mobo supports only DDR3 FB-Dimms,not normal memory modules. And believe what, the SLI bridge is already on the board. So, you won't have to use an external SLI bridge to run SLI.The Skulltrail motherboard comes with four PCIe x16 graphics slot. The pair of small heatsinks right below the graphics slots are the NVIDIA SLI bridge chips that enable SLI graphics support on this board. This is a server class mobo which is expected to be selling at $500-$600 but worth every cent.Look at the performance advantages compared to an Core 2Extreme QX9650 based system using Intel X38.
