Serious connection!

Alright! I have one little problem. A relative of a friend of mine just came down from West Virginia and her computer is a little wonky.

I try to connect to a wireless connection and it refuses to connect as well as disconnect from "westcodailup" <Notice dial is not spelled right? She is using a Dell laptop with Vista, I believe.

I am thinking that this might be a major contribution to the connectivity issues and I don't know a thing about WiFi. I try to connect to WiFi connection "tony" and I input the connection pass and the thing shows that it has 4 green bars meaning that connectivity is high but it refuses to connect.

I try to disconnect from "westcodailup" and it says unable to d/c. Any suggestions guys? Thanks!

Did you try to go into "internet connections" in the control panel and remove that particular connection?
