It's available for download from the main updates site; but it wasn't two weeks ago when this was first posted. I'm not so sure it's included as an auto-update.

thats wierd .......... I just formatted a pc and did the whole auto-update thing and SP3 was one of them.

I'm formatting another pc tomorrow , so i'll watch carfully to see if its auto updating or I maybe hit the "check for updates" button

After installation opt for auto update, Microsoft online will analyze your system & let you download updates. This includes all critical updates as well as Service Packs.
