Gigabyte X58 UD5 v1 and v2 Fan Riser Amps

Passing on some information that might help someone down the line. I needed to know the max amps the PWM controller risers could handle, and got this back:

From Gigabyte:

Dear customer,
Each fan header on mother board provide 12v up to 2.5 amps.

Best regards,

Gigabyte technical support team.

Do you realize this means you could run all of your fans from one header? lol. Good news for the 230mm fan crowd.
