Our site has been hovering very close to 100,000 unique visitors for the past month, according to Google Analytics. I don't expect an immediate change in the number of visitors, but now would be a good time to prepare for the next contest (for when we do hit 100K).
At this point, I have decided to allow the winner to pick one of three prizes: PSU, CPU Cooler, or mid-tower case. I am open to contest ideas... something original and useful to the site. Good ideas are appreciated. Great ideas will get you an extra entry in the contest.

Something with a Christmas theme maybe? Seeing as it's one month away.

Yeah, a world-wide contest would be great!!!
And for the rules, it can be anything from making a funny slogan or overclocking contest, or just a RANDOM contest...

Yep, worldwide contest please. The winner may be decided by the creativity of the entry like why do we need to win some specific prize.

Just before Christmas, Google Analytics peaked around 99,900 for the thirty day average. Unfortunately the holiday season has burst this bubble, and I don't expect most readers to return until after New Years.
On the upside of things, I have started to craft the framework for the next contest: Digital You. In this contest, which will be available to all worldwide entrants, you will write an essay about you, your digital lifestyle, and the technology that surrounds you.
Sounds like a lot of work, right? Well, to be honest, it should be. I plan of awarding the top three writers with some excellent prizes!
This doesn't mean I don't still want reader idea's! Keep them coming!!!

A scavenger type contest would be a fun type of contest.

I just took a peek at the Google Analytics report, and we are on course to break the 100,000 mark this Saturday. The prize chest is pretty full... so stay tuned!!!

Well, yes and no. When I published GeForce 8800 Graphics Performance: GT vs GTS vs GTX (http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=137&Itemid=1) the site went over 100K Friday morning. A few hours later our host (1and1) shut down the domain. Benchmark Reviews was down for a full week.
The sad news is that because of this I have moved the site to a new server, and it is taking a lot of my time to organize and test the new location. Our one-year anniversary is fast approaching, so I am going to time to contest with this date.
The good news is that I have one last prize item on its way, something worth waiting for. Once the contest begins, I will send out the news.
