640mb and 320mb SLI

i was wondering if this is possible

i got a 640mb evga 8800gts, and i won a 8800gts 320mb

was wondering if it would work

both cards are the exact same except for the memory, and speeds..

Sure, it will work fine. Make sure to use the 320MB as the secondary.

i just plugged it in, its detecting both, but its not running in SLI

the SLI thing doesn't even come up. bridge is installed. dont no what to do :(

put the 640mb in first slot, with 320 in second, no go, nothing

i put the coolbits registry in both times, nothing has come up. i dont no what to do. it was said to work..

I thought it had to be the same card/mem size for sli to work???

I think theres a difference between the bios's on the cards so it
shows up as a different card type.

I honestly don't know though. Thats just what I heard from a buddy.

some things are set to AUTO in bios, im gonna set it to Dual video card

Since both the 640MB and 320MB versions of the GTS use the exact same driver, SLi should be no problem; even with different BIOS's. I would do some research, because I'm sure the nVidia forum has plenty on the topic.
