Before I get into all the details, I should provide the back-story. When I registered benchmarkreviews.com, I also registered four other domains: frameratereviews.com, leakedreviews.com, and firstoutreviews.com. I am probably going to sell off two of the three, keeping frameratereviews, but I have been looking for others as a spin-off project for down the road.

One of my searches led me to overclock.com. Presently this domain (and others like overclocked and overclocking.com) is for sale. So since I was interested I requested a quote, and received a response. Here comes the punch line:

"I'm asking $45,700 for this domain, but I'm willing to discuss price with you. Please make me an offer."

I think that began, and ended, our discussion on overclock.com. If anyone else has any idea's, please feel free to post them in this thread.

I find that I prefer subdomains when you have a great core domain to organize things around. I don't have any actual name suggestions for you, just thought I'd add my measly $0.02 here. :)

That's actually fairly cheap considering. It's a prime domain name.
