On 14 March 2007 Benchmark Reviews went online. We didn't have much content to provide, and learning the ropes wasn't easy. Thankfully, through a strong marketing effort from site owner Olin Coles we were able to establish reliable affiliate relationships with many experienced web sites. Every affiliate has been critical in our early success, with special mention of Hi-Tech Reviews who has helped educate us in the logistics of this industry.
Exactly four weeks later Benchmark Reviews celebrated over 13,000 unique visit to their site in the first month, a noteworthy achievement for any brand new web site. Certainly a celebration is due, but we aren't breaking out the party hats just yet. Benchmark Reviews knows that many visitors endured the growing pains of this first month, with lack of content and component placement changing almost daily. We know it was painful, which is why we work so hard to make it perfect.
