Server too busy

I seem to get quite a few "Server is too busy to process your request" messages when trying to access the forums. Is this just a poorly worded error message that actually means something else or is it a result of actual server overload?

I've also had the same experience. There seems to be no correlation to time of day either.

There's been no problems with this for a while, but the last two days the server has been "too busy" quite a bit.

Whenever I publish a Best CPU Cooler Performance (http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=5&Itemid=62) article, you can count on server overload. I've seen as many as 600 users on the main site at the same time after they get published. Plus, all of the search engine spiders add an additional 50% load on top. And then there's the forum.

... as many as 600 users on the main site...The thing is that I've never encountered any problems with the main site, only when visiting the forum.
