Comfort. Mice take quite a bit of abuse, and with optical mice having replaced ball mice as the standard, response time is quicker, and there's no worry about dirt screwing up the guts of the mouse. Therefore, I am concerned most by comfort.

My favorite game is, as of right now, Morrowind.

What's important:

The contour of the mouse. The mouse must rest comfortably in the hand, and be as natural a shape as possible, to ensure as little stress on the hand has possible (basically, the mouse needs to be as close to an extension of the hand as possible)Favorite game:

Hard one, but I'd probably say Battlefield 1942 (and all its various mods). I wasted many an hour playing that one. Coming in close behind: WOW, Star Control 2, System Shock 2, Master of Orion 2, and Civilization 4.

1) Reliability. There's nothing more frustrating than when your mouse doesn't move how it should at a critical moment.

2) I'd say that Team Fortress 2 wins here, but I can't seem to completely get away from Guild Wars.

The most important feature of the mouse as it has been said a few times is comfort.

Favorite PC game of all time would be BF1942 & its mods.

Comfort is definitely the most important thing in a mouse

Favorite game: To hard to tell but Counterstrike Source has my vote.

What happened to the PMs? They aren't working anymore, at least not for me. It doesn't let me send people messages, namely, Olin Coles

Well Mr. Olin Coles, my mouse finally made it here today! After over two months of waiting, it's here. Turns out that Fed Ex had delivered it to the house two doors down, and the people living there weren't here for the past few months. They just got back apparently and found a package at their house. which they brought over to me. I'm pretty excited that I finally have the mouse, it's like Christmas all over again! :D

I've unboxed it and tested it out and so far I'm impressed. It's a good quality mouse, a good replacement for my worn out logitech G5 :)

Wow! It figures that FedEx screwed up; between them and UPS I'm not sure who is worse.

At least you finally got it! That's pretty cool. Also, I will look into the PM's.

And they kept insisting they delivered it to my house...yeah right :p

Based on my experience Fed Ex is the worst by far! UPS has always been pretty reliable with fast shipping :)

In my experience FedEx is a great Courier. They've delivered me a few parcels and they've never delivered to the wrong address. FedEx is also on time. Once the courier came at 11am to deliver a package, and I missed them by a few minutes. After one quick email the courier came back in less than a hour. Thats great service and dedication! It may be because I'm in NZ not the USA.

Not that I care to drag this off topic (although the contest has been long since over), but FedEx and UPS are both decent carriers that happen to have a very high error rate.

I realize that when you move millions of packages each day, that mistakes will be made. But in my nine years of using them for my business, there has been at least one incident every six months.

Strange coincidence that this thread pops up now...

I'm currently awaiting a large and heavy package, due for delivery by Schenker earlier this week.
Turns out the package is at the back of one of their trucks next town, and since it's a bit chilly outside (-20C) they can't start the engine...
Delivery is promised "some time during the day".

Cheers
Olle
