ZOTAC 8800 GT AMP! Edition HDMI video card is currently available at NewEgg for $184.99 (http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-2339666-10446076?url=http%3A//www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500006) ($154.99 after $30.00 Mail-In Rebate). Benchmark Reviews has repeatedly tested the ZOTAC GeForce 8800 GT 512MB AMP! HDMI Video Card (http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=87&Itemid=1) to perform at the same level as an overclocked 8800 GTX or stock 9800 GTX, and is in my professional opinion the absolute best bang for the buck! Imagine two of these in SLI!

Kingwin RVT-12025 (http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=111&Itemid=1): A clone of the HDT-S1283, but with slightly lower-volume fan included. With a $17.99 price tag (http://benchmarkreviews.pgpartner.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=65392720), this is the most affordable top-performance product available; leaving money to upgrade the fan and mounting kit if desired!

Looks like the ModXStream is sold out. For people that need to get a new power supply, the MAYPSU10 also works on other Power Supplies on Newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Store/Category.aspx?Category=32&name=Power-Supplies), although besides the featured ones, I'm not sure which, exactly.

Newegg is doing a double Shell Shocker (Their version of Deal-of-the-day) today.

From 3PM to 11:59PM PST (6PM to 2:59AM EST) they're going to have a $80 MSI 9800GT (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127406) with an additional $20 Mail In Rebate.

Basically a $60 9800GT.

Saw this on Newegg. Great for those who want an inexpensive card that can play some decent games:

$50 EVGA 8600GTS (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130394)

With a $20 Mail-in rebate, the total comes down to $30, with free shipping.

The 8600s are good cards for those that need a cheap low-medium end gaming card.
I just upgraded from an 8600GT, which ran Call of Duty 4 and World at War on high with no problems. The 8600s are 80nm, though, so they do run a bit hot.

Also, from Newegg's newsletter today, a nice sale price on the Coolermaster HAF 932 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119160) $140, and code EMCLTMT23 gets free shipping.

Same model Seagate External HDD as the one Olin Posted, $65 on Newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148354), since the previous $50 deal expired.

Promo code EMCHDD10A gets 10% off every internal and external HDD until July 22, and can be combined with the external Seagate HDD for a total of $58.49.

Newegg is offering Preorders for the Windows 7 Premium (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116713) and Professional (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116714) upgrade versions for half-off ($50 for Premium and $100 for Professional.) It's a good chance to get a cheap upgrade when Windows 7 gets released, but the preorders will probably sell out soon. You'll need to have XP or Vista already installed, since these are the upgrade versions.

Just checked Microsoft's Win7 update site. (http://store.microsoft.com/microsoft/Windows-Windows-7/category/102?WT.mc_id=msccomhpfeature_win7) Apparently, both XP and Vista users can use Win7 upgrade versions, but with XP you have to do a clean install. That sure makes a lot of sense...

You'll need to have XP or Vista already installed, since these are the upgrade versions.

Or you can do like people are doing with Vista. Do a clean install with your upgrade CD and no CD key (don't activate yet) and then run the upgrade over that. Doing it this way ensures you won't have crap left over from your old OS. Just make sure you actually own the older OS to comply with the EULA.

I pre-ordered a copy of Windows 7 Pro and I also went ahead and ordered a new copy of Vista Ultimate since it comes with an upgrade certificate for Win 7 Ultimate. Only way to pre-order Win 7 Ultimate right now.

If you're looking for a sleek desktop computer, I suggest you read our review and pick one of these up. The AE2010 normally sells for around $650, so this could be a huge bargain.

If you're a post-secondary student, you can get Windows 7 Professional for $30 (http://www.microsoft.com/student/discounts/theultimatesteal-us/default.aspx) (US). There are roughly equivalent deals for many other countries as well.

Note that this is an upgrade license only. It is possible to use this copy to do a clean ("custom") install, but you need to own Windows XP or Windows Vista to use it legally.

CompUSA has a $100 HAF932 (http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4146085&Sku=C283-1187) on sale today (not sure when it ends, since it's Cyber Monday, probably today) and is advertised as having free shipping. Good deal for a great case.

Amazon is also advertising 20% off when you buy two select Logitech products (http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=amb_link_86222931_3?ie=UTF8&docId=1000460971&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=hero-quick-promo&pf_rd_r=1XVKSRDA35RFQM52BZ73&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_p=501776051&pf_rd_i=B001NEK2GE) at checkout. They've got basically every G series thing they've ever made on there. (I guess it gets discounted at checkout, since it didn't reflect 20% off in cart)

Edit: Amazon link definitely reflects price at checkout (tested using G500 + G35 for $125 plus shipping costs)

Slightly off topic, since this "deal" isn't on the web, but it sure seems "unreal":

Philips offers a GeForce 6600GT with AGP and "custom" BIOS at a price of 15,000 SEK (2,081.43 USD, at the current exchange rate) plus sales tax!
Seems unreal, right? I know it's true because my colleague ordered one yesterday.

Philips is known to carry this price level for spares to their diagnostic ultrasound equipment. Last year a HDD failed, and Philips wanted 17,500 SEK for a replacement. Realising that it was a plain HDD with manufacturer's product code identical to what's on sale at regular shops at more reasonable price, we ordered two from a regular retailer paying less than 5% of Philips' price.
Now going to other retailers isn't an option with the graphics card, since no regular retailer sell that card any more.

Late addition: It proved to good to be true. Philips have run out of these cards, and so offered a more exhaustive replacement with "new" motherboard, CPU and graphics card at "only" 89,000 SEK (12,314 USD) provided, of course, that the old ones are returned.

Cheers
Olle
