New ATI 8.5 Driver

Just wanted to put this out there for anyone using ATI graphics.

The new 8.5 driver causes powerdvd to stop working, so far that was the only issue I found with it.

I even tried reinstalling powerdvd but had to uninstall 8.5 and then install 8.4 or earlier driver and powerdvd worked like a charm.

This is for those of us that use powerdvd, as I said I'm not sure if any other software is having this issue or not.

Guess I'll go write ATI now also.

Ok updated powerdvd 7 it works so incase anyone else has this problem just make sure too update Powerdvd.

New update to this updating powerdvd 7 works to get a movie to play but I paused for a few minutes to do something and when I came back and resumed it crashed with the 8.5 driver installed. Tested with the 8.4 driver to be sure it wasnt related to powerdvd software and did not have the same problem under the 8.4 driver.
