I received my Q6600 on Wednesday, but by the time I got it I already wanted to purchase the E8400. Guess I'm just never happy with cutting edge... it's gotta be bleeding edge to make a difference in my day. :)
I suppose this means that anyone who wants a few-day-old Q6600 with G0 stepping can make an offer. I'll even throw in some extra's. NewEgg presently lists this CPU for $245.

I'm counting my extra cast atm. I really need to buy a video card though. And considering I'm waiting for delivery of my 8400 it would be stupid for me to buy it.
But its a G0 stepping, so as I said I'm counting my pennies. If I can spare the loot It will be MINE Muahahahaa... Freeze it solid and clock the hell out of it :)
I have a Q6600 currently but its a B3 stepping, and sucks ars at overclocking. So I threw it in a rig to record tv shows. stargate ;) mostly...

E8600 would be ideal, but feel free to PM me with your offer.

Hmm... Trying to figure out if I have anything good to offer besides cash, not a ton of that sitting around at the moment.

You looking for anything? I wish I had an E8600, wouldn't be trading it, that is for sure.
I have one modern Intel chip (E6850) and the rest are a little older (E2180, 2x D840)... A Q6600 would be fun to play with... and to put to work Folding with my quad Opteron setup.

Let me think about that E6850... I could probably make better use of a faster FSB than I can more cores.

Oooh... Let me rephrase... I wasn't offering that chip, just saying what I had, and how a Q6600 would be cool for one of the old D840 machines to step up to.
For trade I would probably have things you might not need/want... big PSUs, memory Kits, etc... and cash.
I did almost buy a Q6600 though... $199 at Micro Center is crazy! They had GO steppings in stock in NJ.

If i had money, i could purchase that Q6600 but i also unfortunately don't have any credit card or any online account.Dyeing to get rid out of my PD.My CPU & memory are seriously bottlenecking my GPU.I hope if any organizer organizes a CPU contest but that's very rare to find.Das, if i win something in this contest, could that be exchanged with your CPU ? Just kidding offcourse.Hope you find a buyer soon. :)
