Nobody likes a thief. So when Benchmark Reviews accepts new writers for hardware reviews, we accept a large amount of blind trust. It's virtually impossible to actively recruit the entire working staff from my local city, so I must depend on qualified individuals from across the globe for our shared workload.
Benchmark Reviews carefully screens all staff prior to joining the team. Nearly everyone who has joined our staff as a contributing editor proves themselves to be very qualified, and can be trusted to keep their word and honor our working agreement.
Part of this agreement states that the product they receive is property of Benchmark Reviews until we publish the article. Despite this, we have had a few dishonorable members of our staff that join for the specific purpose of deceiving me and stealing product from Benchmark Reviews. It may not be classy idea, but here's our list dishonorably discharged former staff writers who have stolen hardware from this site:
